Just like the answerer above said, but also put your new spool of line in a bucket of water as you reel the new line onto your reel. This helps to keep the line from twisting and lets it lay nicely on the reel. This is especially important on baitcaster types as you probably know how easily they can

I'm not sure about the Black Max reel, but some baitcasters have a hole through the spindle (axle) of the reel. Inserting the line through the spindle before tying it will stop it from spinning on the reel.

If there is no hole, tie a loop in the line and "lasso" it around the spindle. Watch closely to see if the line folds itself back over the loop as you begin to reel. If it doesen't, and the line just allows the spindle to turn without catching, remove the line and "lasso" it from the other direction. The line should catch and wind onto the reel.
References :
ok....its kinda simple, you first tie a knot on the reel (make sure that it will rell when tied) then u tie it again like 3 times so it dont come undone. then you cut the line on the reel and proceed with reeling. then when you get desirable amount you cut again and put bait on...hope this helps you
