thanks a lot man … thanks a lot man i’ll give it a shot. i bought one cuz theres nothin more exciting than watching a fish hit something at the top of the water
If you are going … If you are going for bass, I suggest the reel and pause technique. Try differant length pauses and even throw some jigging in there. Don’t be afraid to let the floater sit there while the water ripples die down. Definitally a must have for the tackle box. Good luck and keep those lines wet! Hope this helps!
Rapala are the best … Rapala are the best artificial lure company EVER! but expensive, they’re the the rolls royce of artificial lures, thats y they expensive, but my dad once bought a load of them from Sweden really cheap.
I’m starting to … I’m starting to dislike rapala.
I fish for pike and perch here in the netherlands. But it seems that rapala starts to forget their original way of producing good quality lures.
The only thing these guys make now are x-raps and balsa lures with a bad finish.
If you look at the old rapala colours, specially the ones that are silver plated. You see the original quality rapala lures. The ones they make now aren’t anyway better than their little sister company storm.
actually rapala … actually rapala lures have caught more world record fish then any other lure made… also rapala lures have caught world records on every continent except for antartica.
I gotta say thanks … I gotta say thanks for that. Over fishing down in FL is becoming a problem on some of my favorite lakes. Popularity getting to big and not enough people releasing.
As for the Lure, I got just about every rapala made, from saltwater trout to largemouth bass I love them.
i love it!!
the … i love it!!
the look of it in the water is amazing!!
but!
iv only caught one fish and it was a 5.7lbs small mouth
(and yes i let it go)

umm i caught a … umm i caught a 19inch turd will freshwater fishin for bass….i was using the minnow rap…it works great..i fillet the turd later on and grilled it…tastes great
the thing about the … the thing about the rapala lures, is that they are great and work great, but they will never catch a world record. you have a better chance catching a world record bass on a 6 inch jigworm. because the huge fish dont like moving that fast to catch the lure. so they go for something slower.
rapala…the … rapala…the legendary lure known to hold so many record. might not have the best coloration compare to other lures…but catches more fish than others =]
I’ve catched some … I’ve catched some Pikes with Minnow Rap, but I think it’s wonderful with Zander, a fish like american Walleye we catch in Europe.
However Rapala is the most exciting lure in the World.
I gave my friend me … I gave my friend me rod with a rapala on it. i didnt expect to get anything we were bank fishing in lake ontario. When he told me he caught somthing i thouhgt forsure he is stuck because it was his first tiem to go fishing. It turned out ot be a carp!!. he was reeling it in real slow, stop and go kind of motion.
