Horrocks & Ibbotson

Horrocks & Ibbotson Company were tackle manufacturers of the early 1800s base at Utica, New York.They made a range of reels that included level- wind bait casting reels like the Captain, Captain's best, commodore, new admiral, castor and top flight. They subsequently bought Yawman and Erbe, who were makers of automatic combination reels and carried on the same production.
