Bronson Fishing reels

Bronson produced some of the finest reels in the early 1940's to late 1950's, Bronsons at one stage was reputed to be the largest manufacturers of reels in the world, and making 9000 reels in a day. The factory was sold in 1970 and soon after closed.
Bronson made interesting and lower priced multipliers with level-wind from the early 1900s. The more famous reels made are the Altoona, Blue Heron, Fleetwing, Flyer, Lashless, Meadowlark, Mercury, Silver Princess, Sure Kast, Union Jack and the Veteren. The reels produced offered an opportunity for collectors to obtain reels at the lower price range.
